Living in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, the lovely personality of Stephanie Waltrip comes through whether she is singing her heart out or officiating a beautiful wedding. What makes Stephanie such a vibrant artist is her tenacity for an amazing performance that anyone can enjoy. When this buzz-headed beauty walks up to the microphone, you better hold onto your pants because they will be blown away by her big voice and her even bigger heart.
Stephanie was recommended by a wedding florist to officiate a marriage ceremony in 2017. She was well known in the area from performing as a singer all around Tamarindo. After her first ceremony, she was in love and now officiates for many desitnation weddings. She takes this responsibility and honor very seriously by taking the time to get to know the couples, their love stories, their spiritual beliefs and what marriage means to them. She uses this knowledge to write a beautiful and very custom ceremony script. Each ceremony is different, just as each person is different. You will laugh and cry when you hear her speak the words she has written just for you. Most couples that have a desitination wedding in Costa Rica have their marriage legalized in their home country but if you should want your marriage to be legally binding in Costa Rica, Stephanie can recommend a lawyer to help you with the paperwork. She has been working weddings in the Tamarindo, Costa Rica area for several years. Her favorite ceremonies are the renewal ceremonies. "Anyone can get married, but to stay married and honor your committments is truly special. I learn a lot from the couples that I perform renuptuals for".

Today, Stephanie is a household name on the music and wedding scene from Playa Coco to Tamarindo and even as far as Manuel Antonio. She performs in many musical combinations, putting together musicians from all over Costa Rica for the perfect sound. You can find her at local bars, restaurants, weddings, and private events. Her talent encompasses many genres and styles; everything from jazz, blues, rock, pop, country, soul, reggae, disco, Latin, alternative, funk, top 40s and even her original songs, Stephanie’s voice moves with the music and makes you smile and want to dance. Add some drama to your wedding with fire dancers! If your wedding is on the beach, Lion Fire will light up the sky with dramatic music and a mezmorizing fire show. This exciting addition is $400 and a real wow factor. Stephanie works with these gentlemen a lot and even sings during their show. A great way to heat things up!
