Missy and Raquel

Missy is from the United States, and Raquel is a Costa Rican woman. They were my first queer couple to marry. I officiated for them on February 5, 2022 at Villa Sol Beach Resort in Playa Hermosa, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. It was a beautiful wedding. I will always 100% support two adults that want to be married, no matter their sexual orientation. Love is Love. And I am so grateful that their families were there to support them too.

Raquel's family primarily speak Spanish but it wasn't a problem at all. To help me communicate, Missy and Raquel had a friend translate during the ceremony. I can get by in Spanish but not beautifully or confidently to do a whole wedding ceremony in both English and Spanish. I was grateful for the help and super appreciative for this fabulous video they sent me!

This wedding was before I had a place for clients to submit an online review and before I had created a website or a blog, so I don't have a review to share or the name of any vendors used for the wedding. But I came across this video and absolutely had to share it.
