Sarah and Jeff's Micro Wedding in Playa Grande

There were 8 of us to witness Jeff and Sarah tying the knot on April 11, 2024. In Playa Grande, they booked Casa Mirage, an Airbnb right on the beach, where I setup my rug under a tree and my guitar player, Josue, setup off to the side. Josue sang "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Elvis Presley, as Sarah walked towards us. She wore a formal white wedding dress, he in white linen and we were all barefoot. They met while working in the hotel industry, both loving to travel. So naturally, it made sense for them to travel to a new place to marry. They heard Costa Rica was peaceful, relaxing and gorgeous, with fresh fruits and vegetables and delicious coffee. Sharing a love for the beach, they chose the perfect place. The ceremony was simple, including only the most important people, words and of course, live music.

Pronouncing them "husband and wife", I stepped out of the way for their first kiss and sang "All Through the Night" by Cyndi Lauper, to which they danced slowly to, soaking up the moment.

Josue and I performed for an hour while they enjoyed cocktails. Their preferences included The Beach Boys, Van Morrison, Jack Johnson, Bob Marley, Norah Jones, The Beatles, and more. It was a perfect day.

Stephanie was the absolute best choice for our intimate ceremony! She was an excellent communicator, always prompt and so incredibly helpful. The music and vows were beautiful, thoughtful and exactly what we asked for. She created a lovely experience for us and made our day feel so magical.
