Who says it has to be fancy? Alanna and Ed choose to elope.

Many couples elect to elope as it offers a more intimate, personal experience, absent the stress and hassle of large wedding arrangements. Plus, elopements provide financial advantages, allowing couples to allocate resources that match their priorities. That's what Alanna and Ed chose to do. It was easy going, casual and fun. They wore their sunglasses and had their feet in the sand as gentle waves cooled them around their ankles.

"A spontaneous decision and a recommendation led me to contact Stephanie regarding our elopement. Not only was she willing to help us with a few days notice, but she provided options to best suit our experience and suggested nice beach locations to conduct the ceremony. Her professionalism and excellent communication made planning very simple, and her positive energy radiated during the ceremony. I would highly recommend hiring her for your wedding."

I helped them pick a spot at 9:00am on November 22, 2024. There aren't many people out yet at that time. It was on the public beach of Playa Tamarindo. The sun was out and so was the tide. It was short and simple, just as they wanted it to be. I didn't get a chance to really get to know them as it was a spontaneous decisions that left me with very little time to work on their ceremony. But I could see that they were best friends, that they loved each other, respected one another, and were in it for the long haul.

Cute doggy alert! That's my MoMo; my sweet, happy, rescue poodle. I would NEVER bring my pup to a wedding ceremony but this was different. Alanna and Ed were so chill, easy going and flexible. I picked them up in front of their hotel and drove them to the spot I had picked. My husband and pup were with me to make it extra special. My hubs captured the photos for us while MoMo galivanted in the water. What a glorious morning!
